Covid-19 Announcement

We are glad you arrived on our page.  We are not meeting in person for the unforeseen future due to the outbreak of COVID-19.   The pandemic has spanned the globe and impacted many aspects of our lives.

As the church of Jesus’ disciples, we pray for our city, its leaders, and its residents.  We pray for its well being and overall health.  San Francisco and the Bay Area are dear to our hearts as we long to see a region transformed for Christ.  Our hearts break when we hear of the vast suffering and worry that many face today.

While we cannot meet, we strive to bless our neighbors and residents.  We have raised money to donate masks to our medical workers, both in our congregation and the community at large.  As part of our relief fund, we have donated masks to San Francisco General Hospital and are seeking to bless other medical facilities.  We long to bless our communities as the New Testament instructs, “it is better to give than to receive.”

We also long to be available to each other, to our community and await the day when we can meet again.  Until then, we do not simply wait but encourage you to look to the Lord and to your neighbors (yes, even your literal ones) to both give and receive blessing, for in this, we demonstrate the life of our Lord Jesus.  Our church now has an incredible opportunity to reach out to those in need and meet people as Jesus’ representatives.  Identify those in your circles who you can actively love now.  We might know neighbors in need, co-workers in need of companionship, parents in need of a call, or friends who are anxious about unprecedented change. While gathering is a challenge for our church, loving others in Jesus’ kindness is, in the meantime, one simple way we can be Jesus’ church .

To that end, we offer our messages as a spiritual support.  We also would like to continue in blessing others, so if you need prayer or are aware of ways we can bless our communities, please let us know by email or by phone!
